[Konvas] : URGENT KINOR sizes and weights ...without picture

Hola Olivier,
Estoy aquí en España por una semana. (For those that can read that
sentence, please pardon my VERY bad Spanish!)

Searching through the website, the Kinor 35H is roughly 13 kilos (28lbs)
with a 500ft magazine and a prime lens. I believe the 35C is a bit
heavier by a few kilos (about 4-5 kilos?).

I'd say it'd probably be less if you remove the lens and magazine
though, so you *should* be able to get the camera on the plane if you
are figuring for under 15-16 kilos, but I'm not positive (I don't own
one, so can't weight one).

The battery may be a problem if it's a certain type (lithium ion?), and
may need to be shipped FedEx, UPS, or USPS, as there are limitations for
certain battery types in commercial airlines. You'll need to see what
kind of battery and what the airline will allow you to bring. May be a
safer bet to just ship it home and lug the main camera onto the plane...

The biggest problem will most likely be luggage itself. It's become even
more of a problem since the airlines have been cutting back on expenses
the past few months. Depending on your carrier and seating arrangements
(first class vs business class vs economy), you are allowed one to two
carry-on bags - two in first class, one in economy - and anywhere from
one to three 22.5 kilo suitcases. But you'll have to research your
airline to know exactly what, as each airline is different (btw: the
Spanish owned Iberian airlines allowed me one carry-on when I flew to
Spain this past week - each airline has a website, I suggest you
research your airline before you arrive at the airport).

Buenas Noches!
