 A bit over thirty years ago I shot a lot of 16mm footage for Lady Clarol-- and in spite of the fact I was in Atlanta, we sent all the film to RGB in LA because it was less than one quarter the cost of our local lab's best offer.? One day they quit shooting 16mm because they could get "short stock" AGFA 35mm and process it for less than 16mm, so we went from Elcair, Frezzi, and Bolex? to Arri 2 and Eyemo.

Sometimes that is just the way things are.

It may not make sense, you just have to live with it.
