Seems like you are learning a lot from this project already! :)

I did wonder if you weren't going to run into this!
I have the same problem here (in the U.K), I got the prices from the local lab and was a little shocked to find that 35mm development is much more expensive than 16mm over here. In the states it is actually cheaper or the same price. When I worked it out, it was well over twice as much to process the film.

I was talking to a friend of mine and he now flies out regualy to just shoot his films in the states. Yes the flights are expensive but he saves so much money on stock, processing and telecine that he saves the cost of his flight at each and every stage

I was already thinking of telecine in the states anyway but it has made me rethink everything.
