Hey gang...
In a continuing effort to stop being such a pack rat I'm getting rid of a few things I don't really need anymore.
I'm thinking of?giving up?my QuickSet geared head, because I have used it exactly zero times in the last three years or so.? I haven't?dragged it out?yet to take a picture of the actual head (although I will soon), but it's like this one....

I'll probably just slap it on eBay, but thought I would offer it to the group first.? It could be especially useful for panning or tilting for you time-lapsers, as the gearing is very VERY low and you can make extremely small precise movements.? On the downside it does have a 1/4" tripod bolt rather then 3/8", but should be easy enough to put a 3/8" adapter core on it (or core the tripod socket on your camera, or just change the bolt out on the head, or use a little mounting plate that has both 1/4" and 3/8" holes).? Standard QuickSet mounting base, but someone reasonably handy could adapt it to use with other sticks.
I think I paid somewhere in the $350 neighborhood for it.? I'd like to get relatively near that back out of it otherwise it's probably better that I just keep it.
If anyone is interested before it hits auction let me know OFF LIST please at todd at fantasticplastic.com
Thanks!
T2
