[Konvas] Super 35mm

I'm just making it back after another bad couple of weeks, catching up on the emails.

When Bob Hillson was working with me we had a 35H and a Konvas 2m that we had super35 gates for, and a zoom with an offset mount so you don't need to move the camera mount, just use this one.? He took the lens, 2m, and 35H with him when he moved back to Canada, and I cannot get in contact with him any longer, but there were several Soviet lenses with the offset mounts--? that is a better way than screwing around with the front of the camera, at least in my opinion.

Dan,
This gets discussed every so often. If memory serves, the 1M is the
easier (cheaper) Konvas to change over to Super35, since the lens
mounted on the turret can be off-set without cutting into anything. Of
course, that's on the turret itself - I can't remember for sure if
there's an issue between the gate and lens, but it seems like there was
a small something on the upper right side that had to be hacked out...

The 2M, on the other hand (and, again, this is purely out of memory),
would need the more expensive version of "cut and paste" (cut and moved).
