Earlier this year, I transferred super8 to 720p HDV using the same concept as a DOF adapter. I pointed my projector at a ground glass and I pulled apart an old cell phone and used the vibrating motor to reduce ground glass grain (like the letus or brevis). Sometimes the results were good, others not so good (only as good as the footage was). tup
