Anyone ever thought about getting a wild hair and trying something like 
buying a half-frame 35mm still camera, taking off the lens, and building 
an OCT19 mount for it? Even with the building of the mount, it seems 
like it would be a lot cheaper than buying a Russian Cinema lens with 
all the Red mania going on...

I'm not sure what the different Flange Focal Distances would be for the 
half-frame lenses, which would definitely be an issue to overcome. But, 
since the lens is made for the smaller frame size (Half-frame being the 
same as the MoPic film frame), it might have a better image than the 
standard 35mm still lens. Of course, it might not.

But still - anyone ever thought about getting that wild hair?
