[Konvas] Nikon, and Lomo (separate OTs)

Canon was slightly worried about my mention of the 50D--? so please don't pass it on since? it has not been publicly announced, yet, at least, but if you know a Canon Pro dealer I would suggest you consider putting a deposit down on one.?? It's actually made to be useful to the DV and film mopic shooter, and I suspect it will be in short supply and hard to get once people play with it.

And it really puts anything Nikon has in that price range to shame.

So the DSLR wars will continue. I wasn't aware of the 50D. But heck, I used to carry around a?Super8?when SVHS was introduced. Perhaps these gimicky new cameras don't meet your stringent requirements?especially with all your comprehensive experience, but I see it more as a grab and go medium??as opposed to the real thing. I still don't own a DSLR, but this one sounds tempting even with?its?limitations. Then again,I utterly respect your knowledge? and? everyone elses' in this?group.??I'm just?a lowly run n' gun?camera guy?with a loaded Konvas in my holster trying to shoot up a storm. I certainly learn alot here!!
