[Konvas] question

As 7222 is a negative film I would think it looks under exposed and thin, this will make grain more apparent. Can you inspect the film? Does it look thin? When selecting an aperture for a negative film it is better to error toward overexposure than under. Expose for the shadows and print for the highlights is the old saying. Re-shoot the scene and try this, hold your meter up and cast the shadow from your hand on it a foot or so away, then use that T stop.

    Dear Konvas-friends,

    I have an unusual question.

One of the takes for a shortfilm project turned out like this. I chose the aperture according to what the incident lightmeter told me to do. Do you think the result is acceptable or would you film the scene again? It really looks overexposed -but is it really? Both the houses and some people in the background seem to be exposed in the right way. But there´s lots of flare in the sky.

Tomorrow would be the last possibility to film these scenes again on the same location.

    What do you mean?

Thanks for your patience with me!

    Best regards,

    Ole
