[Konvas] another lens question

Thanks H.W. and Todd,
I've tried to cut Film together with HD in the past as well - all I can
say is that it doesn't work very well.

But, I was actually hoping for some insight into the newer generation of
Digital "Still" Photography Cameras (ie, Nikon, Canon, Pentax), since
certain DSLRs are able to be programmed to match the color curves of
certain film stocks. They also have about as much latitude as film.

I'm in the beginning stages of a "personal project" that may be a lot of
fun, and am just wondering if things will be able to cut together, as I
plan on mixing 35/16mm with shots from DSLRs (not video). I'll
definitely be running my own tests here, but was hoping someone that had
already done some mixing could share a little in that area...

Cheers,
