I like to using the maximum of the film capacity in the 200 ft mag.
So one morning i get up with the idea the best way to using those mag is the
Russian way.
With the metal Russian core.
So you need a device to reload those core on a rewinding arm in a dark room.
The problem is you have not much space to build a inside square hold in it,
and i came up with the idea of using a out side day light reel for 16mm a (
200 ft) i take in part.To get a square hold for the film rewinder.
I all ready have 3 adapted core like Raf made but made on a local machine
shop.
The big advantage with the split i could reload my film myself on a Russian
Core easily.
The pick up could be a Kodak core or also a Russian metal core.
Now on i like my 200 ft mag i got 5 of them and i have also have 3 x 400 ft.
Sergei Parajanov is inspiring when we see what he do with the small
camera. It's a u-tube link send to me by Steven Lyle BTW he still exist...
look like is a silent member.I stay 2 year a silent member my self on the
old list to learn on the Konvas.
And became more fluent in English also i am a French Native Canadian. At
first i am looking for a Eclair CM3 but they are so old and expensive to fix
i was very happy to find the Russian version of the M2 i think is a very
versatile camera like the arri 2c. The Russian version is less heavy of the
Eclair and the Arri 2 C.
