[Konvas] funny mount

Actually, the c-mount is MORE than strong enough, and lenses even heavier and longer were used on the various Bolex, Filmo, Beaulieu, Arcona, Auricon, Frezzi, et cetera.

The c-mount was designed for strength, and it did the job well, it was just too small to be used for 18x24mm.

Thank you for your replies!

Yes, I did ask the seller but he (or she) wasn´t able
(or pretending not being able) to know anything about the mount type. This is
why I won´t bid. If it really is c-mount, I don´t want it. The 10-150mm Angie
is MUCH to heavy for a tiny c-mount….. I was interested in this EBay-item,
because 10 – 150mm is a great zoom range, if the lens is in good shape. 10
– 150 mm – this would mean one lens for almost every situation. I
know a 16mm-cinematographer who is full of praise for this lens… Well, I
wait until there´s an offer for that lens with some other lens mount like Arri
or cameflex…

BTW –what is your opinion about the Angénieux
9,5-97mm lens? I was told that it is awful concerning the image quality. I am
just wondering if this is true because 9,5mm is a very interesting wide angle
range….
