[Konvas] Magazine Gear Pitch

Hey all, I have a quick question.
I found a few slightly "tuff spots" on one of my small mags, I tracked
down the issue to the large gear - the teeth therein are randomly not
quite perfect. Some are just a smidgen shallower (the valleys between
the teeth are not quite as deep). During the course of an entire turn,
there are about 4 spots total.
I was wondering if anyone knew the gear pitch of that large gear? My
mathematical skills seem to keep coming up with 31.667p for some reason,
instead of a more standard 32p. I keep counting 95 teeth, and it looks
like it's a 3 inch diameter. I do measure the diameter from the center
between the valley and peak of the teeth, correct? The mathematical
equation should be P=95/3.
Am I doing something wrong, or is the gear ratio correct? OR should I
have switched over to metric? I never know when the Soviets used Metric
vs when they didn't...
Cheers,
