Hello all,
I'm looking for some ideas here. I have a Cavision mattebox that I'm
trying to retro-fit to take my Lomos. The immediate problem is that it
has no expandable rubber type bellows to fit over the varying lenses.
It has hard rubber backplate that is fixed. So for most lenses, I have
a gap that I'd like to get rid of. Also, the rubber backplate on this
Cavision MB does expand a little, but VERY little. Not enough to cover
most of my lenses in their focus travle.
I'm looking for some DIY ideas to make a bellows that expands a bit.
Best idea I've had so far is to take something like the CV boot that
covers my CV joints on my front wheel drive minivan (yeah, the van is
sexy, I know). Just wondering what other stcok, off the shelf, bellows
that might be out there.
Thanks,
lael
