[Konvas] 16mm -> 35mm lens (a silly question)

Do you have experiences with using lenses the other way round -35mm lenses
for 16mm Cameras? I wonder if I should do so, as 35mm lenses are producing
great close up images on 16mm frames. Would you say that there´s a big loss
of quality when using 35mm lenses on 16mm Cameras?

Unless the front and rear elements are matched you only have an image that
reflects the smaller of the two elements.

The Rodenstock Eurygon is the only design of that type that works well, and
it is a close focus only design.

Well, that's kinda what I figured. Thanks. 
 
But, and I have to ask just to play devil's advocate with myself, what would
