The only cheesy thing on the Kinor 16 is that G-d Darn leather strap.
A replacement made from "rip-stop" nylon should be the first
modification to the camera.
If folks would use a dovetail-type quick-change mount for their
camera support apparatus, damage to the underside of the body could
be avoided.
