An impossibility, as if it covers 35mm, then it will cover 16mm (and
S-16 as well).
I am at a loss to state which specific optics cover Full 35 (which is
de-facto for S-35), and which cover Academy (which is de-facto for
sound) but won't cover Full.
The usual rule is to stop down several stops and then check for
vignetting.
Alas, 35mm has three different optical centers: Full/Silent/S-35
(which is also the original CinemaScope, but not the final
CinemaScope optical center), CinemaScope 2.55 4-track mag, and
Academy/Sound (which is also CinemaScope 2.35 optical or 4-track mag/
optical).
I have a Mitchell BNC movement with a 2.55:1 aperture ... truly an
anacronism ... and also a Mitchell NC movement with a Full/Silent
aperture ... very usable.
As most know, a BNC is simply an NC camera head in a self-blimped
housing
