For those interested, I tried to update this page a little yesterday:

http://konvas.org/industry/motion-picture-camera-services-accessories.html

Worked on updating the list AND also added what each of the service
companies/people do. Please let me know if I missed someone that you
think should be added.

Until I can confirm his site is working, I removed the link to Lee
Gaither's site customupholsteryproducts.com, but left his company, email
addy, and other information up there just in case.

If you are on the list (or at least know someone who is), but your
information doesn't look correct, please let me know ASAP so I can fix it.

Also, once I get the rest of commiecam uploaded to konvas.org, and the
old discussion list archives sorted and uploaded (trust me, I'm on the
path - but it's a long, long path), I'd like to start adding other
camera, lens, and cinema equipment information.

At first, it will be cameras (and lenses) that were directly copied
(read: clones) to make many of the Soviet cameras - like the 35mm Arri,
Eyemo, and Aaton. I feel knowing the original cameras may help to
understand the clones a lot better. Then, I'd like to go on to other
cameras where you can easily see that certain design ideas were
"borrowed" (sometimes quite heavily), like with the Eclair CM3 and
Konvas. Btw: I would like to try and avoid getting into modern Cinema
Cameras, unless comparing functions of new cameras with those of the
Soviet made MoPic cameras...

Again, with the above page: PLEASE let me know if I missed someone that
you think should be added! The above page is so that everyone can have
an easy reference for service specialists, technicians, and accessories...
