Nope, we definitely can't forget the Mitchells!
Can anyone remember which Soviet camera models were clones of what
Western models (and, if need be, what country those models came from?)
and/or which models were "borrowed" designs?
The 35mm AKS-1 was a clone of the B&H Eyemo. (I think the design was
given to the Soviets during WWII. And I believe the only difference was
the spring in the AKS-1 was half the size of the Eyemo, which means it
can only run half as long).
The 35mm PSK29 was a clone of B&H 2709.
The Kinor 35C/35H was a copy of the Moviecam Super America.
