[Konvas] DIGITAL CINEMA with ikonoskop

Yeah, I'm not sure if it's the same setup as CSI, but some shows have shot  
background plates with Canon HV20 and HV30 arrays.  I bought one (the HV20,  
about 3 days before the HV30 was announced... of course) just for grins and to  
play with.  In a word, stunning.  Incredible 1080 picture, 24p,   in a camera 
the size of your fist with a throw-away pricetag of about  $900.   No full 
manual mode, but more than you can expect for such a  consumer toy (although the 
crafty know how to "fool" it into full manual).   Not a tool designed for 
professionals by any stretch, but amazing what it can do  nonetheless.
 
Oh, and I LOVED the Edsel.  Wish I had one... great ahead-of-its time  
design, and they're worth a mint now.
