[Konvas] COMPLETELY OT- Looking for Mr Showtime, voice actor

I have played Harvey Gold's voice on a Sonogramme and his voice trace  
matches the VO for the 'Honda' commercials in the UK. His inflections and style  are 
the same too. Mind you if you smoke and drink whiskey then most people can  
copy it!.
 
If its the Showtime VO then a number of people in retirement can  probably 
imitate that style. Stretching the end of the sentence and  pitching into the 
microphone at the same time seems to be the only highlight of  his voice.  Any 
good actor can do that providing they wear closed  headphones and 30 DB base 
cut in the microphone. Slowing the recording down  5-10% will prolong the 
release of breath in the last word but a trained VO man  should be able to that 
anyway.  The latter being very expensive  ofcourse.
 
A good Neumann 170 and matching effects processor is the answer then you  can 
use a cheap/free actor!
