XiaoSu Han,

I had a similar problem when I first got my Konvas 2m. I shot some
footage to test it, to see if it hold the sync and produces images at
all, and saw it copied and projected on the lab. Everything was normal.

So I start to shoot a promo for me. When I got to telecine, I saw a
problem similar to yours: the image had a flicker, sometimes the entire
image moves up and down, especialy at higher speeds, sometimes it just
blinked. I guess since the projector run the film and vibrates, the
flicker issue is minimized. In the telecine this problem appears because
of the precision of the CCD.

After running a series of homemade tests, I gave up and sent the camera
to Bernie, super16inc. He said to me that the registration was broken
and the camera was dry inside, along with many other problems, that
could be causing the flicker. He fixed it, I shot again with the camera,
got to the telecine, problem solved.

So I would say, if you are near a good camera technician, send your
Konvas and give a full test to it.

I also had another problem later: the image seens to be pulsating, with
a blue light in the left somethimes, and a sensation that the light was
going up and down. With the help of the list and a lot of tests, I
figure out that my eye was not firmily pressed on the viewfinder, and
the light leeked from there.

Hope I helped.

Regards,
Tiago
