[Konvas] Decent Tripod/Support System for a Konvas?

 Most OEM companies "badge" things--? Bogen does not make a tripod, they badge Manfrotto.

It has been more than a few years, but I remember seeing Vinten badged gear in the UK that was made by someone else for them-- the same way Honda badges an Isuzu SUV and claims it as their own, telling you that "there are differences" and "it is not the same."? In 35mm SLR lenses Canon may make lenses that the nameplate, color, and looks all match up to the company that sells it-- the same way Minolta, Nikon, Pentax, Olympus, et cetera, did it.? Please note I did not say the gear was inferior, and in fact, it was probably "made for them" and badged because it was the best gear of that type available.? 

Most OEM suppliers deny it, but badging is common.

Vinten would not be happy if they heard that!?? "Badge" other 
brands?is not their policy.

Other brands may ask Vinten to market their product due to certain local 
marketing licencing laws within North America but they would not "badge" another 
brand. Not in their interest.

I am trying to write a book about Studio equipment 'past and present' so 
will contact Vinten to see if they do, would be very surprised. Will let you 
know if they do.
