 One further problem is that 100mm does not always equal 100mm, for example.

A McAlister 100mm bowl easily accepts Oconnor 100mm, McAlister 100mm and Oconnor Type 2 120mm heads-- but not some of the other 100mm heads.? On the other hand, an Oconnor 100mm standard bowl will NOT accept the McAlister or Mitchell 100mm heads.? It gets to be bizarre.

Todd, that's no help at all! hehe. just kidding.
I wonder if using a balloon or something like a child's inflatable 
rubber ball can help to figure the sizes out?
