This is not the heads that I use, but these are the sticks that I use:

I use those sticks with 50D heads (the actual model of the sticks is 35A, but most sellers seem to only list the head model).? If those sticks had the 50D then the one grand Buy It Now would be a bargain.? With the 30B head... eh.. not so much.? Not a BAD deal, but definitely not one of the better heads.? The 35A sticks and 50D head is a great great combo, and will still be serviced by Oconnor if needed.? Oconnor is actualy one of those rare but great companies (Cooke being another) where you can call and they will actually just hand the phone to a tech who knows the product inside and out.? Bargains can be had, too... my first 50D/35A combo set me back a few K, but my second set (in near mint condition) I picked up on eBay for only about $800.??

In one major disappointment, about a year ago I forgot to check back in on an auction I was watching and missed it.? The seller had three sets of MINT 35A sticks selling together.? He was getting almost no views or bids because he had spelled Oconnor as O'conner (not a photo guy, he was one of those "I don't know what these things do, but here are some pics" sellers).? They went for $15.

It's been mentioned here before but bears repeating: if you are in the market for an Oconnor and are doing eBay searches (or Mandy or other auction searches) it's wise to try several different spellings.? The "real" company name is Oconnor (no apostrohe), but you will often see sellers using close-but-not-quite-right spellings... like O'connor, O'conner, Oconner, etc...? especially if they are not photo pros used to dealing with this equipment.
