[Konvas] and the winner is......?

Now that you mention it I'm not sure I ever have seen a decent copy of the film. Maybe I got to see a dodgy download at one point? I'm not sure.

I read the book when I was little and was a huge fan, I even tracked down a copy of the book with the extra chapter so I might read that too, so I really wanted to see the film. Of course at the time this was impossible as the film was banned. Eventually when I was a fair bit older I met someone who had a bad bootleg of the film on VHS. I think they had copied it off someone else who copied it off someone else and they made me a copy too. It was to say the least, not a great copy of the film. To this day I'm not sure I have seen a copy of the film other than this VHS, although it is now of course available in the shops.

However these days I'm sure everybody would be very familiar with the film as it is very famous and quite available and it sticks in your mind.
