[Konvas] Film with out crew by Rodrigez

Yes, the actual title of the book is "Rebel without a Crew."  Great  book, 
have read it, and re-read it a couple of times.  My dog-eared  copy is on 
the coffee table in one of our edit suites right now.
 
Cheech Marin, however, was not in El Mariachi.  That film had  absolutely 
no known talent in it whatsoever.  Marin however was in  "Desperado " and 
"Once Upon a time in Mexico" both of which are "sort of"  sequels to Mariachi.  
Marin is a Rodriguez favorite, having appeared in  several other of his 
films as well.
 
Interesting that Rodriguez started with home video equipment as a kid...  
graduated to 16mm for Mariachi... then 35mm... and finally to HD for his last 
 several movies.
