Hey T2,
You didn't say what kind of a camera was to be converted. Like everyone else will say, Bruce at Aranda ( www.arandafilm.com.au ) does lots of 2 and 3 perf conversions for all kinds of cameras, and reports are that his workmanship is top notch. I had my Kinor done through Anders Banke. He sent it to a workshop in Russia that also did excellent work, I'm not sure if they do other camera types. Unfortunately, these are all a great distance from LA. One place I have heard about but never used is Cinema Engineering, http://www.cinemaengineering.com/index.htm . If he doesn't do movement work I would expect he knows someone that does. With labor prices so high here in LA, it may actually be more economical to ship the camera to another continent.

Hey gang...
I should know this, but I don't.
Someone on another cinematography forum was inquiring where/who does 2-perf and 3-perf conversions. I know this has been discussed much, but not doing or needing any of that I didn't pay close enough attention to file the info away in my brain.
So... who are the companies I can refer him to? I do know he is in LA, if there are any such companies in SoCal.
Thanks... just trying to do my good deed for the day.
T2
