The first 'Scope films were shot with  Full/Silent aperture, and Fox  
never changed its Fox Studio Cameras from that aperture until the  
cameras were retired in 1969.

Today, no one shoots 2.55:1, but Mitchell made movements and plates  
for that specific incarnation of 'Scope. I own one such NC example.
