[Konvas] 2 perf film scan ....

The only concern I would have is that there may be lighting 
inconsistencies between the upper and lower portion of your backlight 
which will result in a 12Hz flicker when played back.  You could 
calibrate that out using a transparent leader or other similar pair of 
reference frames.  Aside from that, no reason this wouldn't work nicely.
