 That actually applies equally to any brand of gear on eBay.? 

A young lady who worked for me used her hard earned cash to buy an Arri 35BL that was supposed to be almost perfect.

Ninety five hundred for the body and two four hundred meter mags, looked great, and only needed sixty six hundred in new boards.

My 2cents worth, owning a Kinor is like dumping all your hard earned cash in a 
bottomless pit,
many of these cameras on Ebay need a heck of alot work to get em up back to 
standard.

I always was told Russia cinema did not allow "errors" it was about perfection, 
sadly I do
not see most of the Russian Camera equipment in the same basket.
