Dear Kelly
The quickest solution to the battery issue is to run off to your local
hardware store and buy a couple of DEWALT power tool battery packs and
a charger. These are 18V which is perfectly OK for the Kinor. I have
a few here and I have added a Cannon 4 pin outlet. These batteries
are small, light, quick to interchange and charge.
Replacing the Russian receptacle on the Kinor requires a small amount
of work. We do this automatically to all Kinors that come through
here. For the untrained I believe that there is a 'how to' article
somewhere on the Konvas site... I may be wrong though as I have not
actually read it.
