[Konvas] Bolex reflex lens? (off-topic)

I've got a 16mm Locam, which is perfect for this sort of thing. Runs up
to about 500fps.
A handy trick to figure out what framrate you want to shoot at is to go
out with a video camera at 30fps, shoot the action, and then in your
NLE, start fiddling with the playback rate until you are happy with the
duration of the action. Take the time skew factor and multiply 24fps by
it to figure out what rate you'd want to shoot at. You can probably
slow it down by an additional factor of 2x by just frame doubling, or
some sort of interpolation without looking too hokey. (heck, 3:2
pulldown is already doing this and you didn't really notice).
Look up a software plugin called "Twixtor" (I think). It does some
rather intelligent things to interpolate motion in frames and generates
additional between-frames for you.

Cheers,
Sean
