[Konvas] Phantom Lens Set on Ebay?

Without actually checking the optics only three "manufacturers" created a line of lenses that match up to the specs.

Schneider-- in the Arri Standard and Arri B mount, both of which have been converted to PL frequently.

Canon K35-- made in BNCR, only, but converted to PL by several people.

Kowa--? the most astoundingly sharp, unreal quality lenses for the cine lines, originally made and delivered as OEM lenses to others in their mounts.

Now into the "however" factors.

However, none of those were made lately, and I cannot imagine anyone covering any of those names-- the names are selling points.

The focal length choice is very "television" standard, not movie standard-- more soundstage two shots and composites, no long lenses for stand off work.? Canon supplied lenses to quite a few Japanese companies for use on Arri cameras, and the Schneiders were more Western European distributed.

>From the "focal length set" and "new" statement it almost sounds like an Eastern European "assembly" set-- which could be astoundingly good.

The fact the lens mount is not listed-- that bothers me.

Sorry I cannot contribute more.
