[Konvas] Off topic_color grade question

Yesterday I took my digital footage to a color graded to have it graded. In
my rush I accidentally exported an uncompressed Quicktime (HD)  with
resolution of 720 x 540 instead of 1440 x 1080.
 
When I told the grader that it was the wrong file, he told me that it didn't
matter (wouldn't make any difference) as he would be using the Avid DNxHD
codec.
 
Now I have almost killed myself using  1440 x1080  whilst editing, but I
wanted the best resolution I could get and this guy is telling me that it
made no difference....what am I missing here?
 
My output is to film festivals.
