Thanks for everyones advice. That's pretty much what I figured on the filters but had to ask.  
Lael, if you go over to reduser.net and look for a user called "arrinick". I talked to him a while ago and he said that he has 3 x 20-120's, all trashed (in his words).
However he may have the element that you need.
Who would anyone suggest for working on my lens? Just need a clean and lube.
It does seem really yellow though, is this common?
