[Konvas] red adapter problem

I just finished making a red adapter for my lomo set.  Works great except for when I try to use my 18mm on it.  The 18 seems to have a little tab on the lower back of the lens that hits the mount.  Has anyone else had this problem?  I'm going to try and skim a little off the mount but there isn't much room to wiggle.  Does anyone know what the exact clearance is from mount to mirror on a konvas?

Also what's the deal with oct19 to oct18 conversion.  Raf used to have a simple little adapter if I remember correctly but I can't find it anymore.  Does anyone have one of these for sale?
