Hi, the guys on AZ spectrum say me that :

Hi Oliver,

We did not design the electronics for this camera, we just repaired it. The electronics were made by The Aranda Group, Melbourne, Australia. You can e-mail Bruce McNaughton at bruce at arandafilm.com.au to get correct answers for your questions. The camera electronics have 12v and 5V voltage regulators (LM78 series). The top voltage for these regulators is 30V. If you are using 24V NiCd battery then after a full charge the battery voltage can reach 30 V level. I prefer to use 18V battery. Please check the power cable, the film switch and the door switch.

Best regards,
Andrew Zorawski

      Olivier,

I sent you the manual off-list last night. Did you get it? Also, I have the same problem with the run/stop switch on my Kinor. I solved it by putting another switch in the power cord. After your post I took a close look at it and I believe the switch is faulty. It doesn't move all the way into the "stop" position. I think I'll replace my switch...

According to the manual, running the camera with the inching button should not damage the electronics. It makes an awful screeching sound, but it doesn't hurt the camera.

The explanations of the mysterious letters that appear on the display screen are in the manual too. ("USA" means it's measuring the film in feet not meters, "SAF" is a prompt to save the footage count, etc.)

someone know if i can shoot normally simply pushing the "INCH" button on my kinor .... i see than the camera look running at 1FPS (one frame per second) during all time i keep the button pushed ...

so it look great make a slow speed shooting (time lapse) at 1FPS ...
my question is : it can be done without problem for electronic ???

what is the real function of the "inch" button ????

sometimes i have "USA" word , and "SAF" word appear on my display .... sometimes only the "F" letter .....

what can be the causes ????

anybody heve a kind of manual of this display seting pànel ?
all is OK, but sometimes stranges things happend like the camera run with ON OFF button in OFF !!!

maybe it is a Ghost inside the body !!!!

        Olivier .
