That's a Graflex RB series camera. It's a camera that Dorothea Lange used extensively. They're SLR cameras that came in sizes up to 5x7. I don't think a larger size was ever made. The photographer appears to be using a 4x5. I've handled one of them and found it to be very nice but not as practical as the large format rangefinder cameras for handheld use. You have to hold the camera kind of low to see what you're shooting.
