[Konvas] still film in cine cameras

Thank you for your replies! Great news! Indeed, it seems as this might be a
way to minimize developing costsand -time as slide film and negative film
for still cameras is developed everywhere in huge amounts.

Another thought: What about the coating and base of still films vs cinema
films? There´s a much higher mechanical “stress” on cinema films than on
still films while being exposed in the cameras they have been designed for

Does this mean that still film might be more easily scratched or even torn
when used in cine-cameras? A small company here in Germany, GKFilm, tries to
help the Super 8 hobbyists who lost their beloved Kodachrome 40 by putting
usual Fuji Velvia 50 slide film into Super 8 cartridges. They sell it also
to 16mm users. But I heard that there are scratch and transport (gliding-)
problems (especially the 16mm version) and some say, this is mainly because
of the fact, that slide film was not made for the fast transport within the
exposure process in cine-cameras

Regards,

Ole
