The Konvas wasn't designed for time-lapse. But apparently it's 
resurrection as the Privatized/Non-Soviet "Ostcam" had more of this 
ability in mind. It actually has a 1fps setting.

I know this may sound like blasphemy, but, personally, I like using a 
DSLR for time-lapse. It's nice because of the instant feedback from the 
camera, allowing me to play with exposures and look at the images to 
decide what I like best, right there on the spot. The biggest issue I 
have with using DSLRs for time-lapse is the limited amount of juice in 
the batteries...
