That's actually not a bad idea!
Thanks for the help,

The simple answer would be no. It's sensitive to red light, you might get away with it a little but it's probably not worth the risk.
However I have heard of people using infra red goggles for this sort of thing! :)

Can you load BW negative
'mopic' film with the assistance of a dim red light?
(Kodak 35mm pan-x.) I have 7 400ft konvas mags to load, and
it won't be pretty in complete darkness or a loading bag
esp. since Im something of a nooby.

That jogged
my thought process-- among the things I will need to get rid
of as part of moving-- anyone have a use for a Minolta 35mm
enlarger, a 4x5 Saunders LPL, a Jobo CPE-2b with carriers,
lenses, miscellaneous darkroom stuff?

If you look at Euro fashion magazines most of the images
are still made on film. The might be fuzzy and grainy
sometimes but they quite outnumber digital and many are shot
on 35mm. Not knocking digital with that slick look.
It's pretty alluring. Seems likely the film look is
geared toward younger tastes. Retro is very in with them
right now. The designers sure don't mind.I mostly
use digital for convenience and when I'm not concerned
with longevity or disposable images. It does save alot of
bread. I still prefer film and have a darkroom to prove it.
How many can still say that!
