Thanks Bruce! I will let you know how it goes. I love how these mags slap in when they're loaded. Easier than loading a clip into a pistol!

I haven't responded yet, so welcome, Brandon.
After you've done it a few times it is not as hard as it looks. Remember, tens of thousands of people have done it successfully before you. As T2 states, relax, be careful, and you'll do fine. One suggestion on loading your dummy loads: be sure you run the mag on the camera after you think you've loaded it successfully, confirm that the noise while running is normal, then open the mag and check that your loops are where they are supposed to be. Then practice some more so that each time you test your dummy load it is perfect.
I had touble at first, I was loading the take up on the wrong side of the sprocket, and it took a few tries to identify and stop making that mistake.
Have fun, I know you will!

Ugh. I hope it isn't as difficult as it looks.
.. .tape to insure against light leaks. How about those plastic top/bottom loop covers that swing out when the lid is off???

Actually Pan-X is highly sensitive to infrared, too, and is used as a slow IR film with a blocking filter.
Bite the bullet, learn to do it by touch.

The simple answer would be no. It's sensitive to red light, you might get away
with it a little but it's probably not worth the risk.
However I have heard of people using infra red goggles for this sort of thing!
:)

Can you load BW negative
'mopic' film with the assistance of a dim red light?
(Kodak 35mm pan-x.) I have 7 400ft konvas mags to load, and
it won't be pretty in complete darkness or a loading bag
esp. since Im something of a nooby.
