[Konvas] Crystal sync motors!!!

Ok, I'm freaking out. I think I just fried 2 crystal konvas motors!!!
Help! Here is my story:
I had both motors running FINE last night and this morning off a 12v
battery. Then I had both running fine off a 13v power supply this
morning.
Then I started testing magazines to see which ran well on this camera
body, and I learned something veeery important. I was using a Tobin
Cinema speed checker (and a reel of dummy load sent to me by Bruce--
thanks Bruce!) and some mags worked fine, others loaded the motor
slightly and caused a loss of sync. I was running my 4th mag which was
running well, then I leaned my head against the mag while looking
through the viewfinder at my speed checker and I lost sync big time as
well as hearing a load on the motor. I immediately stopped the motor,
unloaded the mag and dry ran the camera. It worked fine. Then I
reloaded the mag and... Nothing. Nada! I tried my other motor:
NOTHING. Then I started freaking and tried the battery. Nothing BOTH
motors. I checked the motor fuses. Nothing visually indicating a blown
fuse. Then I did something I will probably be called crazy for: I
wrapped the fuses in aluminum foil to see if the motors would run
(disconnected from the camera body). Nothing.
Holy moly, PLEASE tell me these motors are not burned out.
I know I used a 13v supply, but I was under the impression that was
ok, esp because the power supply came with one of the Konvas cameras I
bought.
Yikes! Help please!!!
