[Konvas] Here come the changes!

Hey all,
I've been putting this off for far too long, but the Konvas.org site
will be going through some major changes over the next few days.

1st. The site will have a new look. The look will probably change a few
times over the next week or so, as I try to find a decent balance
between what is fast and efficient, but also easy on the eyes (a very
hard combo, indeed!). Either way, it will not be the old Konvas.org look
that you've come to both love and hate. With that said, I'm hoping that,
overall, it will be less confusing for everyone and easier to operate.

2nd. The site's backend (what I use to manage the site) is also getting
upgraded. This should mean work will be a little easier for me in the
long run - the backend has been hard to navigate and manage for quite a
while now. The problem I'm facing now is that this upgrade is a
massively complicated task and thusly not something I'm looking forward
to doing...

3rd. I need to hear your suggestions for what you'd like to see added or
fixed in the site. If you don't suggest it, there is no way for me to
know what you'd like added/changed. So please let me know what you'd
like to see!

4th. If you'd like to advertise on Konvas.org, ad space is $50 per
month. Please don't think I'm making a profit here, since running the
server and discussion list uses up a lot of time, money, and energy each
month. All interested parties should contact me, off-list, of course,
and we'll set something up. Btw: Donations are also gladly accepted.

All in all, there will be a lot of changes and most likely a lot of
broken items. When I'm finished with the upgrade, I'm going to need
volunteers to look thru the site to make sure it is all working
properly, so get your mouse-clicking fingers warmed up...

BTW: I'm gonna throw this out here, just in case someone is interested:
If you or someone you know is ready to build a website that is optimized
for search engines, please be sure to contact me! Thanks!

Cheers,

Adam Frey
