Steve,
I just came from a 35mm film prjection of Star Trek. I enjoyed it.
I very much enjoy Dan Mindel's style of cinematography. The flares
helped to increase the emotional. I feel this film was working to maintain
a balance between trekkies(which I am not and newcomers-which I am not).
I walked out of the theater happy about the film I just saw, but pissed
about the G.I.JOE trailer that they ran before the film( ..but that's another story).
