Hi Olivier , People make their sculptures with acrylic than make it opaque.
I dont know whether they use sand paper or chemical ? You can ask sculpture
forums
Why you are not trying a art window glass maker and get help from them ?
They can etch your glass as you like it.
*DONT TRY SOME ACIDS AT HOME , THEY ARE SUUUUUUUUUUUUPEEEEEEEERRRRR
