---It's safe to assume that post WWII professional lenses are coated, particularly a zoom.   While multilayered coatings began to be used in the 70s, coating began in Germany in the late 30s.
This is why zooms and retrofocus lenses took off in the 50s, the coating!

& Strictly speaking a B movie is the movie on the bottom half of a double bill.  It was usually a cheaper movie.
