[Konvas] cine Lomos on EOS cameras

Hi Oliver,
I'm not quite sure I understand all of your questions.
But yes, the 18mm behaves like a 18mm would. Just like it would be on a 35mm movie camera or close enough. The 7D sensor is not exactly a 35mm movie standard size. It's just in between Super 35 and Academy. Close enough.
Yes, I get infinity focus.
Not all OCT-19 lenses will work. Not with infinity focus at least.
But I have to say it's really incredible to be able to shoot with my full set of primes. Without going into resolution, dynamic range and the usual film vs digital nonsense, it's literally like shooting digital 35mm. Before I finished the adapter I tried shooting with Canon still lenses and it was a very disappointing experience in so many ways, specially that I was so used to shooting with my Lomos. All the time, money and effort to make the adapter happen was well worth it for me.

Hi, look great ... wich kind of OCT19 lenses ....
my serie is with rear elements inside , so my doubt is if the rear part of the lens will not coming in conflict with the mirror ....
IF NOT , i WANT ONE !!!!
so you get infinite focus ?
without inside lens or diopter ? so lomo 18mm is a real 18mm , with all sharp of original lens ?
please let me know ... it sound fantastic for us !
Bests, Olivier .

I don't know why but the picture just won't show. Maybe the list doesn't support pictures pasted to the email body.
So I have uploaded it to imageshack. Here's the link:

Ok, I'm trying to send the picture again. It's only 21kb by the way.
Here it is copied and pasted bellow:

Sorry about this guys and gals - I haven't had time to investigate the ghost emails this week (been busy as hell editing, but should have some time after tomorrow).
But, the list *is* having issues with messages getting lost. So, I'm going to go ahead and start making plans to move the mailing list to a new server within the next week or so. Don't worry, it should not affect anyone's email - except that you will actually get it!

It doesn't appear to have been attached. Can you try and send it again? btw: Remember to keep the pic under 250kb.
