Yes, I like the Kinor follow focus and it beats having to get an Arri or Chrosziel and replace the driving gear. I have the double sided studio version. The single side is nice and light weight but requires more modification to be mounted on 15mm rods. 
Once you have an accessories port it raises the Kinor follow focus to another level. 
Unfortunately I do not have pictures of my set up anywhere handy. But I will try posting some later.

I was also very interested in your Kinor follow focus knob modification to accept standard whips and cranks. Could you post some pictures/information on your solution? The body mounted Kinor ff is well done, it's a shame it doesn't accept accessories.
